About This Place

Welcome to St Annes Fine Foods, a delightful culinary gem nestled at 11 Garden Street in the charming town of Lytham Saint Annes, UK. This establishment stands as a testament to the art of quality food and extraordinary service. While not a traditional restaurant, St Annes Fine Foods excels in offering an array of take-away dishes that cater to both hearty appetites and refined palates.

The menu is a brilliant showcase of their best sellers, which include the Spicy Indian Wrap with Tandoori Chicken and the quintessential Ploughman's Lunch with Fresh Salad, both priced at an incredibly reasonable £4.60. The standard buffet further exemplifies the quality they provide, featuring Assorted Cocktail Sandwiches, Cake Selections, and Savory Pork Pies, all available for just £6.00. For those seeking something more comforting, the Ham Cheese Pork Pie Salad is a crowd pleaser at £4.40.

Each dish is crafted with the freshest ingredients, as echoed by local patrons like Zoe Nichols, who raves about the delicious trays of sandwiches she ordered for a Coronation party. The meticulous attention to quality is evident in every bite—a sentiment that resonates through customer reviews highlighting the shop’s dedication to offering homemade-style food. With a beautifully old-fashioned atmosphere, St Annes is the go-to destination for a convenient yet indulgent lunch. Regulars often mention the warm smiles from staff, although there are occasional remarks about inconsistent service that might dampen the experience for some visitors.

A standout feature at St Annes Fine Foods is not just their food but also the ambience and local charm that envelops the place. Customers come for the hot and cold food options which include soup, baps, sausage rolls, pies, and salad boxes, alongside a selection of artisanal jams and chutneys. It’s no wonder that people find themselves returning for that just one more slice of homemade cake. The buzz of satisfied customers fills the air, especially during lunch hours where the friendly service—albeit with some room for improvement—creates a lively, welcoming environment.

Overall, St Annes Fine Foods is more than just a food shop; it is a community hub where quality meets affordability, and each visit feels like a warm invitation to indulge in delightful culinary creations. We bought trays of sandwiches fir our Coronation party. They were delicious. Lovely fresh soft bread, really tasty fillings. You can tell it’s top quality produce used. Will definitely recommend and order again. A thank you for Lynn who works in the shop for her help. She’s always so kind and helpful.

If you are in St Annes, I highly recommend a visit but please note this is not a restaurant. The prices are VERY good for what you get. The shop is looks oldy worldy and is a winner for anyone's lunch time. There is hot and cold food to take away (sandwiches, baps, sausage rolls, pies, salad boxes, pasta) along with a small selection of store cupboard essentials (jams, chutneys, and cake that looks home made) If that's not enough, you can buy sliced meat (I recommend the Festive Ham) sausages, bacon and other traditional staples. Staff are friendly, there is usually a queue, cash and credit card accepted.

amazing place and great prices super foods and most importantly great staff love this place for me and my work colleagues highly recommend go on have a cake yummy yummy it satisfies my tummy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ordered a buffet last weekend for a family gathering. It was absolutely beautiful. Great choices and more than enough to go round. Will always return for any more parties. Staff are so helpful and always have a smile. Amazing value for money.

I usually love this place, especially their soups! However, the one downside is the consistently unfriendly service. Unfortunately, today wasn’t the first time I left feeling as though I was being looked down on. There’s something about the way you're made to feel like an inconvenience just for ordering. It felt like I was holding them up simply by making my order. I ended up paying without getting everything I initially wanted. If the staff was quicker the lady behind me who ordered after me wouldn't have got the last 2 soups. It’s not my fault if your memory can’t recall what was ordered and you have to ask ‘anything else’ over and over. I’m nothing but polite when I come in. Given the number of reviews mentioning poor customer service, it’s clear I’m not alone in this experience. I understand it’s not easy standing on your feet for hours, but I hope this feedback encourages a friendlier attitude in the future. TIA

Every time I go to St Anne's .I come here they do the best sandwich fillings. And so much more. Amazing service can not do another for you . Why always so busy.
